Anderson Green Ltd is a leading privately owned Building Services Consultancy and we have an excellent opportunity, for a Part Time Receptionist to join our busy team based within our Nottingham Office.

The successful candidate should be flexible and have the ability to provide efficient and effective reception duties to support our clients, visitors and members of staff within a reception environment.

The Main Responsibilities Of This Role Include:

  • Manage all telephone calls with a confident and confidential manner, receiving transferring calls, announcing callers, taking messages or connecting callers to staff members direct lines or mobile phones  from 8.00am – 5pm daily
  • Ensure all visitors are greeted and welcomed warmly
  • Managing and booking meeting rooms
  • Organising and scheduling meetings/ travel arrangements in the UK and occasional international travel
  • Maintaining group and company contacts
  • Sensitive management of confidential and personal information
  • Communicating  regularly with staff throughout the Company
  • Organising refreshments for meetings and seminars
  • Ensuring all requirements are in place for meetings and seminars
  • Providing general clerical and administrative support including filing, scanning, typing documents
  • Working within a team to ensure deadlines are met
  • Ensuring knowledge of staff whereabouts and maintaining sign-out/sign-in procedures for visitors, clients and staff
  • Coordination of staff and visitors in the event of an emergency
  • Managing post and ordering couriers
  • Dealing with day to day enquiries
  • Coordinating the maintenance and repair of office equipment
  • The post holder may  be required to perform additional duties as requested by the Office Manager to meet the needs and demands of our developing  business

Skills required:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Flexible approach to work with the ability to work independently and be able to prioritise own workload
  • Confident in Microsoft Systems, predominately Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Good organisational ability, accurate, excellent and neat presentation skills.
  • Reliable, respectful and honest
  • Smart with a professional appearance
  • Friendly and approachable
  • Excellent  customer service  abilities
  • Discretion and an understanding of confidentiality issues
  • Ability to grasp new business concepts

This is a permanent position at our Company which offers the following benefits:

  • Working 21.5 hours per week between 8:00am to 5:00pm for 2 days per week (i.e. Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday morning or working Wednesday afternoon, Thursday and Friday) with a lunch break of half an hour
