The Lyceum Theatre Sheffield has undergone a significant engineering refurbishment of its ageing facility to improve customer satisfaction and energy performance as well as carrying out life cycle replacement.
This is the first major refurbishment in its 25 year history.
Changes to the Veolia district heating supplies to reduce the volume of stored hot water, fan and pump speed control, auditorium cooling, LED lamp upgrades, Power factor correction, upgrades to the Building Management System, and fire alarm upgrades formed just part of the programme of works.
The additional of a roof mounted PV array will also help to reduce their carbon footprint and generate a revenue stream for the Theatre.
