Anderson Green Role:
- Full Detailed MEP Design including integration into the existing site infrastructure
- Part L/EPC Production
Synopsis
A key requirement from Sheffield Teaching Hospital was to reduce the time taken for emergency patients to receive urgent critical care assistance.
This project involved the integration of the existing on site GP Collaborative Centre into a shell area below the newly created Helipad structure.
The accommodation included HTM compliant consulting and treatment rooms along with the associated staff and patient support facilities.
The project needed to be undertaken in such a manner so as to not interrupt the operation of the Helipad. The approach influenced key aspects of the successful design.
