Prestige European headquarters for TATA technologies and consists of three floors with two large tenant areas per floor and a central core with high quality meeting room facilities. Expectations of both BREEAM excellent and an “A” rated EPC were designed.
To achieve these the latest two stage evaporative cooling was used on the ventilation rainwater harvesting was provided and a 55,000 kWh PV system was incorporated into the design.
The M & E systems consist of LPHW Heating, mechanical ventilation, domestic water services, air conditioning above ground drainage, electrical underfloor busbars feeding the open plan offices (which offer excellent flexibility, full intelligent DALI lighting Control system including Emergency lighting Self-Test and report system, feature lighting to the Reception three story atrium and to the open plan offices and external Lighting to the car park including feature lighting to the main façade. UPS system, Gas Suppression and Leak Detection to the main server room were provided.
Additional specialisms of this included an Extensive Data network, L1 Fire Alarm System, security systems including finger print scanners to high secure rooms / areas. Careful co-ordination between MEP systems and structural elements was required to ensure a high specification finish was achieved.

High efficiency two stage evaporative cooling coupled with demand control ventilation ensures that comfort conditions are maintained whilst minimising energy usage.
The evaporative cooling system utilises harvested rainwater to further reduce utilities costs.
