Anderson Green’s Army Reservists (all Specialist Teams Royal Engineers (STRE’s)) have been busy over the last few weeks undertaking their Annual Training Exercises (ATX’s) in both the UK and overseas territories.

Lance-Corporal Steve Cragg (504 STRE, Power) has recently been promoted, after successfully completing his Army Leadership and Development Program (ALDP) and has also deployed to RAF Akrotiri, Cyprus. As part of a joint exercise with 506 STRE (Water), for the design of a large-scale non-combatant camp on the estate.

Sergeant Richard Stacey and Lt Colonel Danny Downham (510 STRE, Airfields) have also both deployed to RAF Akrotiri, Cyprus. In support of real-time infrastructure taskings on the operational airfield, that have enabled DIO and British Forces Cyprus with Aerodrome compliances; utilising drone photogrammetry, lidar products and power design provisions for a large-scale temporary camp option-study for the estate management team.

Additionally, Corporal Craig Gregory MSc ACIAT (526 STRE, General Works.) has deployed locally to Chetwynd Barracks, Chilwell. To attend a Critical National Infrastructure (CNI) studies and an insight course into Contract Management, focusing on the MOD’s frame of work.

Anderson Green is committed to providing their unequivocal support to its Reservists Forces to allow them the freedoms to undertake their training and assist in their pre and post deployment within the workplace.
